Today, I’m really grateful to all of you for gracing this occasion and travelling all the way to share in our happiness. In times like these, I appreciate all the love and support people have showered me with.
Indeed the inauguration of my new office in Viraj Tower is an extraordinary experience. Looking back at my childhood, it was always my dream to own a swanky office in a high-rise statesman house in Delhi. The idea itself had me enthralled with its magnificence for so long, that when I stood in front of the office I teared up a bit. The dream is running towards fulfillment now.
VIRAJ is the combination of the names of mummy and papa (Vijay and Rajni (Vi-Raj). VIRAJ, is a word in the Sanskrit language that represents sovereignty, excellence or splendor. I lost my parents quite early in life, one could say that I was not fortunate enough to get their love, but I disagree.
I was more than fortunate that both mom and dad had embedded the best of qualities in their children and grandchildren. I am more than glad to carry forward the proud legacy of my family. Till date, I cannot forget the golden advice given to me by my mother. She said, “Try not to become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of value and Legends are created only when men dare to convert their dreams into reality.”
Although the journey of creating Viraj Tower was filled with ups and downs, we faced many trials and tribulations whether it’s in the form of legal or technical issues. However, still we as a team succeeded to do this. I would like to pay gratitude to all those who wholeheartedly helped me in the process. On this pious occasion, I would very much like to remember and pay a tribute to my late grandfather Shri Chandu Lal Gupta Ji, a man of substance who scaled many heights yet remained firmly rooted.
He made everything possible with his hard work, determination and courage. To follow in his footsteps, is my greatest achievement. His words of wisdom always ring true, no matter what I’m doing or where I am
“Manav Jeevan Lakshaya Yukt Hai
Vyarth Gavaya theek nahin
Surya Chandra Ban main Chamku
Jeevan Sarthak hoga tabhi”
I’d like to conclude by thanking my elder sister Parul and Brother Pratyush for being my constant pillar of support. Last but never the least, my heart goes out to thank Laveen whom I call Priya with love. Thank you for taking the time to make me smile, no matter how good or bad the day- you always somehow manage to do so. I am extremely blessed to have you in my life.
